This year’s Pride Parade will begin at 75 King Street at 10am. We will march together through downtown St. Augustine, ending at The Fort, where sponsors will have tables set up and community leaders will give speeches. A Celebration of Juneteenth on June 18-19 A multi-community choir performs an inspiring selection of Negro Spirituals and classical works celebrating the triumphs of the Civil Rights movement. Performances on 2:30 p.m. Saturday at St. James Missionary Baptist Church, 135 N. Rodriguez Street and at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Cathedral Basilica, 38 Cathedral Place. Admission is free.

Congregational Meeting on Sunday, 9/8 after the 10:00 am service On September 8, immediately after 10am Worship, St. Cyprian's will have a special Congregational Meeting to sign required Articles of Association, which are part of our application to become a Parish in the Diocese of Florida at the Diocesan Convention on September 21. We are required to have a minimum of 100 “adult (age 16 and older) confirmed communicants" sign the Articles of Association.

Yael plays classical guitar and sings. The music comes from all over the world and is sung in 10 different languages. With a French and Israeli heritage and a facility with languages, Yael is as adept at singing old U.S. rock and pop favorites and jazz standards, as she is singing songs from France, Israel, Spain and South America. This vibrant performer clearly gravitates to songs with Latin rhythms.
Yael ZaZa Flamenca was the opening act for Latin Grammy Winner Leo Dan, performing at some of the biggest venues across the United Sates, and has performed all over the world. Her music has been described as progressive, with influences from gypsy jazz, French music, Flamenco, and Latin vibes. Don't miss this rare opportunity. We are thrilled to have her perform for us! Ms. Lockhart's father, Dr James H. Lockhart, III, will be reading his poem: "The Day I Met Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.". Dr. Deeh Israel will be speaking on the past history and future of Fort Mose. Both Dr. Israel and Dr. Lockhart are amazing nonagenarians with much to share.

The quartet has performed at many international, local and corporate events for thousands of listeners. Dr. Marc Dickman is a founding member of the acclaimed Jazz Studies division of the School of Music at the University of North Florida.
The NFJQ performs melodic jazz based on modern swing with contemporary and Latin influences. The repertoire is chosen from jazz and pop standards along with original material. The instrumentation is euphonium/trombone, piano, bass, and drums.
